Student Scholarships
The Spring Research Conference on Statistics in Industry and Technology has a proud tradition of supporting students by providing scholarships to selected students who present contributed talks. Spring Research Conference 2009 - Vancouver is no exception. This year, each successful applicant will be reimbursed for travel expenses of up to $800 (Canadian).
To apply, please email a title and abstract of your talk, including your name and affiliation, along with a brief supporting letter from your thesis supervisor to the Contributed Program Chair, Professor Hongquan Xu, at
hqxu@stat.ucla.edu,
using "SRC 2009" in the subject line as in
Subject: SRC 2009.
The closing date for receiving applications is April 1, 2009. Applicants will be informed of the outcomes in early May 2009.
